RN Nursing Supervisor Responsibilities
-
Provide supervisory and/or direct nursing care to residents
-
Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs), and Licensed Medication Nursing Assistants (LMNAs)

Conduct clinical rounds on assigned units throughout the shift
-
Provide and receive shift reports from licensed nursing staff
-
Recognize and respond to emergency clinical situations and communicate with on-call leadership
-
Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Local regulations
-
Assist with scheduling, admissions, and staffing as needed
-
Investigate and report narcotic discrepancies
-
Maintain confidentiality of resident care information
-
Review and update care plans following changes in resident condition
-
Lead or participate in Interdisciplinary Care Plan meetings
-
Educate and support staff on nursing practices, procedures, and regulatory standards
Qualifications
-
Current, active, and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
-
Minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing experience; long-term care experience preferred

Current CPR certification
-
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
-
Knowledge of nursing practices, long-term care regulations, and standards of care
-
Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred
-
Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions

Professional, adaptable, and team-oriented approach
