Your primary responsibilities will include comprehensive student assessments, concentrating on functional physical development and self-regulation to ensure students have the foundation they need to thrive in a school setting. Using your insight, you’ll design and implement individualized treatment plans, supporting optimal student placement and ensuring that therapy goals align with educational objectives. An important aspect of your role will involve recognizing and addressing environmental barriers, recommending strategies to foster accessible, inclusive educational experiences for every child.

Qualifications:

  • Active New Hampshire occupational therapy license
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
  • Compassionate, proactive approach to student care

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments of students’ physical function and self-regulation within school environments
  • Develop and deliver evidence-based intervention plans tailored to individual needs
  • Consult with educators and families to promote student progress and well-being
  • Identify environmental or situational obstacles and recommend practical, sustainable modifications
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and regulatory standards
