Director of Nursing
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Director of Nursing to join our team at AdviniaCare Seashore Pointe in Provincetown, Massachusetts. As a Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of our Nursing Department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Plan, develop, and implement nursing programs and activities to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained

Develop and maintain written policies and procedures for the Nursing Department

Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of care

Participate in facility surveys and assist with quality assurance programs

Monitor medication passes and treatment schedules to ensure medications are being administered as ordered

Provide direct nursing care as necessary
Qualifications:
-
Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related health care facility

Registered Nurse with current unencumbered state license
-
Current CPR Certification
-
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English language

Must be a supportive team member and contribute to a team-oriented work environment
Physical Demands:

Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday

Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position

Must meet general health requirements set forth by the policies of the facility
