Senior Software Engineer (.NET / Angular / Python) | Greater Boston/New England (Remote) $115k–$165k base + bonus + benefits
A well‑established global financial services firm is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join a small, high‑impact client systems team. This is a hands‑on senior IC role with strong ownership, direct business exposure, and a split of ~75% new development / ~25% production support.
Technical Environment
- C# / .NET (legacy .NET Framework 4.8 and modern .NET)
- Angular (modernizing from legacy JavaScript)
- Python for system integrations and data services
- SQL Server / T‑SQL
- Azure experience is a plus
Requirements
- 6–8+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong .NET and Angular background
- Working knowledge of Python
- Solid SQL Server experience
- Financial services experience required
- Experience supporting production systems
- Strong communication skills and business-facing experience
This a predominantly remote role with very occasional travel (once or twice per year) to the Greater Boston area.
