Job DescriptionJob Summary

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to support our rehabilitation team in providing quality patient care. In this role, you will assist therapists and patients with exercises, mobility, equipment preparation, and daily therapy operations while helping maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with exercises and mobility activities under the supervision of licensed therapy professionals.

• Set up, clean, and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas.

• Transport patients safely to and from treatment areas as needed.

• Monitor and record patient progress as directed by the therapy team.

• Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling, documentation, and organization.

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of therapy spaces.

• Provide encouragement and support to patients throughout their therapy experience.

• Follow facility policies, safety procedures, and instructions from the therapy team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Certification may be required for certain positions.

• Basic knowledge of physical therapy techniques preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused approach.

• Physically capable of assisting patients with limited mobility.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a rehabilitation and healthcare team.
