- Travel credentials: Massachusetts RN license required at submission; EPIC EMR experience
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients on a general medical/surgical telemetry unit
- Monitor patient conditions and telemetry, respond to alarms, and document findings promptly
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered; ensure safe medication administration
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for care planning, discharge planning, and patient/family education
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EPIC EMR; uphold clinical standards and infection control practices
- Participate in care coordination, safety initiatives, and regulatory compliance as part of the unit team
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license required at the time of submission
- Med Surg experience preferred; current Telemetry experience required
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS; AHABLS (respiratory/cardiac) certification required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts; no float requirements
- StartDate: 10/12/2026 or ASAP with start within 4 weeks; eligible for biweekly orientation
- Must pass ECG/Telemetry and Medication tests as part of onboarding
- Previous experience with a 49-bed general medical/surgical telemetry unit is desirable
