Role Description This is a full-time, on-site CNC Set-up/Operator role based in Belmont, NH. The CNC Set-up/Operator is responsible for setting up CNC machines, loading and securing raw materials, selecting appropriate tooling, and verifying programs before production runs. Daily tasks include monitoring machine operations, inspecting finished parts to meet quality standards, performing minor adjustments, and documenting production details. The role involves working from blueprints and work instructions, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and communicating with supervisors and team members about machine status and production issues. The CNC Set-up/Operator may also assist in training coworkers on machine operation and basic procedures as needed to support team performance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid CNC programming skills, including understanding G-code, editing programs, and setting machine parameters.
- Candidates should possess strong machining skills, including set-up, operation of CNC equipment, use of precision measuring tools, and interpretation of blueprints and technical drawings.
- Candidates should possess teaching or mentoring skills to help train team members on safe and effective machine operation and standard procedures.
- Ability to follow safety protocols, maintain equipment, and identify basic mechanical issues for troubleshooting.
- Experience in a manufacturing or metalworking environment, preferably in CNC machining or manufacturing operations.
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in machining or CNC operation is preferred.
