  • Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | Start at 9:00 AM | 8-hour shifts

  • Pay Rate: $20.00-$25.00/hour, based on experience

About the Role

PDS Tech Commercial is hiring a detail-oriented Electrical Assembler to support our client, a global leader in industrial automation, software, and engineering services. In this role, you'll play a critical part in building, assembling, and testing electrical components, cables, wire harnesses, and sub-assemblies used in advanced industrial and aerospace-related applications.

Working alongside experienced technicians and team leaders, you'll contribute directly to the production of high-quality equipment while developing valuable technical skills in a collaborative manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

As an Electrical Assembler, you will:

  • Assemble finished products, sub-assemblies, cables, and wire harnesses using work instructions, assembly drawings, and engineering specifications

  • Build cable assemblies and wire harnesses to IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 2 standards

  • Connect component wires to circuits and wire systems according to diagrams and specifications

  • Interpret and work from circuit diagrams, engineering drawings, wiring schematics, and verbal instructions

  • Assemble and support printed circuit board (PCB) installations and related electrical components

  • Assemble test fixtures and install components within test racks

  • Perform assembly and testing of cables, harnesses, and other electrical sub-assemblies

  • Utilize a variety of testing equipment to verify product quality and functionality

  • Maintain tools, materials, inventory, and organized workstations

  • Collaborate with operations, production, and technical teams to meet quality, compliance, and performance goals

  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment

  • Adapt to changing priorities and support additional duties as needed

Required Qualifications

We're looking for candidates who bring:

  • Previous experience building wire harnesses and cable assemblies

  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly documentation

  • Working knowledge of electrical assembly and wiring practices

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

  • Good organizational and verbal communication skills

  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand tools and test equipment

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with the following will stand out:

  • IPC-A-620 Certification

  • Experience assembling printed circuit boards (PCBs)

  • Prior experience in aerospace, manufacturing, industrial equipment, or electronic assembly environments

  • Familiarity with electrical testing and troubleshooting processes

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
