Seeking a motivated paraprofessional with bilingual Spanish-English skills for a rewarding opportunity supporting an individual fourth-grade student. This contract position runs from September 8th through June 23rd, 2027, and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact each day. Work closely with a single Spanish-speaking student, fostering both academic and personal growth within a school environment near Lowell, MA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized, one-on-one support to a 4th grader in a classroom setting
- Utilize bilingual communication skills to assist Spanish-speaking student in understanding lessons and assignments
- Facilitate participation, engagement, and confidence for the student during class activities
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to monitor progress and adapt strategies as needed
- Help reinforce learning objectives and support positive behavioral interventions
Qualifications:
- Must be fluent in Spanish and English
- Bilingual credential or certification required
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional or instructional aide highly preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, students, and families
- Demonstrated patience, understanding, and commitment to student success
Position Details:
- Contract begins in early September and extends through late June 2027
- Work Monday through Friday, 32.5 to 35 hours per week supporting one student
- Engage with the same student throughout the school year, creating strong rapport and continuity
- Pay begins at $23 per hour, distributed through hassle-free weekly pay
