Make a difference in the lives of students as a Behavior Support Provider in a vibrant, supportive educational setting near Springfield, VT. This is an exciting contract opportunity for passionate RBTs, Paraprofessionals, and ABA professionals interested in contributing to a newly relaunched behavior program for the upcoming school year.
With openings available at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, you’ll work closely with students who require individualized behavioral and academic support. The district is launching pilot projects for the 26/27 school year, making this an ideal role for professionals who thrive in dynamic, evolving environments. The behavior team will be under the leadership of a new district BCBA, with outside BCBA supervision available for RBTs.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience as a Paraprofessional, RBT, or in ABA settings supporting school-age children
- Skilled in implementing behavior intervention strategies and supporting individualized education plans
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers, therapists, administrators, and families
- Adaptability and initiative to help build and shape a growing program
- Relevant certification (RBT credential preferred for RBT roles)
- Able to commit to a full-time schedule (35-37.5 hours/week) throughout the school year
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to students with behavioral needs in classroom and small group settings
- Work with educators and specialists to implement effective behavior plans
- Track and document student progress on intervention goals
- Contribute to the pilot behavior programs and collaborate on continuous improvement
- Participate in ongoing training and supervision with BCBAs
