Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (L&D) (Nights)
Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery for a 13-week travel assignment in Pittsfield,MA.
Contract Details
- Nights 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM 12hr Nights 36hr gt
- Start Date: 8/17/2026
- Contract: 13 Weeks
- Location: Pittsfield, MA
- Hourly Pay: $ 58.00
- Non-taxed Stipend: $ 1246.00
- Weekly Total Pay: $ 2812.00
- Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend/Holidays required if needed
- On Call Requirements: TBD
- Travel Policy: WILL NOT CONSIDER ANY TRAVELER WHO RESIDES WITHIN 50 MILES OF FACILITY. To avoid delays in processing, please include perm address at profile upload.
- 8hrs non-billable orientation
** Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD/DURING INTERVIEW WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).
** ACLS, NRP and BLS MUST BE IN HAND AT PROFILE UPLOAD. PLEASE INCLUDE IN PROFILE. FACILITY WILL NOT PEND UPON OFFER - This is non-negotiable
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the mother and baby's vital signs throughout labor and delivery
- Administer medications and pain relief as required
- Provide education and emotional support to the mother and family
- Assist with labor-inducing procedures and techniques
- Prepare and maintain delivery rooms and equipment
- Assist obstetricians and midwives during delivery
- Perform postpartum care and monitor recovery
- Recognize and respond to complications or emergencies
- Document medical records and update patient charts
- Educate new mothers on newborn care practices
Compensation:
- Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)
- Pay package details provided upon offer
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have 2 years current L & D experience
- Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
- Perm address must be included with profile
- Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment
- Must have active American Heart Association or American Red Cross ACLS Certification
- Must have active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
- Massachusetts State License is required
- Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association during employment
- Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently.
