Our work schedule is structured from Monday to Friday, 9 am - 5 pm, with occasional evening or weekend hours based on client needs and operational demands.
Key Responsibilities\n

- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for seniors facing various mental health challenges.
- Utilize evidence-based screening tools such as the Geriatric Depression Scale to identify appropriate interventions.
- Regularly complete all required documentation in accordance with regulatory standards, ensuring timely and accurate record-keeping.
- Participate actively in crisis intervention planning and create pre-crisis and crisis management plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Foster collaborative relationships with team members and external services to implement positive behavior support strategies that address the unique needs of each client.
- Serve as a liaison to community partners and state agencies, ensuring clients have access to essential services and resources.
- Engage in ongoing professional development by attending training sessions, conferences, and relevant workshops to stay current with best practices in geriatric mental health.
- Promote and uphold the mission and values of Myers Counseling Center in all community interactions and professional engagements.
- Perform additional duties assigned by the Clinic Director to support the clinic’s operational goals.

Qualifications\n

- A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credentials.
