Make a real difference supporting students in a school-based setting as a Paraprofessional! Two contract positions are now open working closely with students at both the middle and high school levels. These full-time roles will have you working Monday through Friday for the upcoming school year, with regular school day hours. As a Paraprofessional, you will play a key part in providing both academic and personal care support to students who benefit from extra assistance.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous experience supporting students in school settings strongly preferred
  • Comfort providing personal care, including toileting and hygiene support
  • Ability to assist with academics, following teacher guidance and IEP requirements
  • Flexibility, compassion, and effective communication skills
  • Experience working with students with autism or nonverbal needs is a bonus

Role Responsibilities:

  • Middle school: One-to-one support for an 8th-grade student who is autistic and nonverbal, assisting with both classroom activities and daily living skills
  • High school: Providing assistance to a small group of students in general education settings, supporting academic and behavioral goals
  • Collaborating with classroom teachers and special educators to implement individualized plans
  • Maintaining a supportive, respectful, and safe classroom environment

These are 32.5-hour/week positions, allowing you to form meaningful connections with students while enjoying consistent daytime hours during the school year.
