Quality Inspector for Manufacturing Shop - Direct Hire

This position is a DIRECT HIRE ROLE from day one

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to perform mechanical inspections and verify product quality against engineering specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience using precision measuring instruments, interpreting blueprints, and documenting inspection results accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical inspections and complete first article inspection reports
• Measure sheet metal components using precision measuring equipment
• Use calipers, gauges, micrometers, and other inspection tools
• Compare measured values against engineering drawings and specifications
• Interpret blueprint dimensions and tolerances to determine acceptance criteria
• Record and maintain measurement data in spreadsheets and inspection reports
• Ensure products meet quality standards and customer requirements

Qualifications

• Previous quality inspection experience required
• Proficiency with measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic computer skills, including data entry and spreadsheet usage
• Ability to work independently and maintain quality standards

Hours

Monday through Friday – 7am to 3:30pm

Pay $32.00 per hour, based on experience
