Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
Job Description\n
A Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) will play a vital role as a member of the surgical team, primarily functioning in a scrubbing capacity. The CST may also assist with circulating duties within the surgical suite. This position requires maintaining a sterile environment and aseptic technique throughout surgical procedures.
Shift and Schedule\n

- Monday to Friday, 10-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
- Weekend and holiday availability required as needed
- On-call responsibilities are part of the role

- Assist in preparing the operating room and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Utilize and maintain specialized surgical equipment and supplies.
- Foster effective communication and teamwork within the surgical team.
- Adapt quickly to stressful situations and ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications\n
- \n
- Minimum of 2 years of current experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist.
- Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) is required.
- High proficiency in orthopedics, total joints, and neurosurgery is essential.
- Experience in scrubbing for general, orthopedic, neuro, and endocrine surgeries.
- Must possess a valid American Heart Association BLS certification.
- The candidate must have reliable transportation for the assignment.
