Location: New London, NH
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Shift: Days

Job Summary

We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) The OT will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based therapy to help patients improve function, independence, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and reassessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide therapy for orthopedic, neurological, degenerative, and post-operative conditions.
• Utilize manual therapy, neuro-rehabilitation techniques, therapeutic exercises, and functional activities.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, exercises, and functional goals.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
• Ensure safe and proper use of therapy equipment.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, staff, patients, and families.
• Coordinate patient care with other healthcare professionals.
• Provide guidance and direction to OT Assistants, rehabilitation aides, students, and trainees.
• Participate in staff education, training, and performance improvement activities.
• Ensure accurate and timely patient charges and documentation.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program or equivalent.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist with New Hampshire eligibility required.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• Outpatient Occupational Therapy experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of current evidence-based practices in outpatient rehabilitation.
• Strong clinical, communication, and patient-care skills.
