Rutland Center for Living and Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented Dietary Aide to join our culinary services team. As a Dietary Aide, you will assist in preparing and serving meals to residents in accordance with prescribed dietary needs, and help maintain a clean and sanitary dining environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in food preparation and meal service following menus, dietary restrictions, and portion control guidelines

Set up dining areas and deliver meals to residents in a timely and courteous manner

Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment; maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas

Follow food safety and sanitation procedures as per state and federal guidelines

Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff

Support the dietary manager and kitchen staff in daily operations
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Previous experience in a healthcare or food service setting is a plus

Knowledge of safe food handling practices

Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team

Compassionate and respectful demeanor toward elderly residents
