Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Optometrist role based in Conway, NH. The Optometrist will perform comprehensive eye exams, evaluate visual function, and diagnose and manage a range of ocular conditions. Daily responsibilities include prescribing eyeglasses and contact lenses, providing patient education on eye health and preventive care, and documenting findings in patient records. The Optometrist will collaborate with support staff to ensure efficient patient flow, coordinate referrals when needed, and maintain compliance with clinical and regulatory standards. Participation in practice development activities, such as improving clinical workflows and supporting community outreach, is also expected.\n
Qualifications

- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution and eligibility for licensure in New Hampshire.
- Demonstrated proficiency in comprehensive eye examinations, refraction, and prescribing lenses and contact lenses.
- Experience diagnosing and managing common ocular conditions and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain clinical findings and treatment plans clearly to patients.
- Commitment to patient-centered care, ethical practice, and maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a small practice setting and contribute to a respectful, inclusive work environment.
- Willingness to stay current with advances in optometry through continuing education and professional development.
- Prior experience in a clinical or private practice setting is preferred but not required; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
