Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An interim pharmacy manager position is available at a smaller hospital located in rural New Hampshire. This role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and requires oversight of the daily pharmacy operations to ensure smooth and compliant functioning of the department.
Key responsibilities include managing pharmacy compliance with regulatory standards, handling human resources tasks, overseeing the departmental budget, and representing the pharmacy during hospital meetings. This role also involves leading various projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing pharmacy services. The pharmacy team consists of 5 full-time employees, all of whom will be supervised by the interim manager.
Ideal candidates will have solid hospital management experience and demonstrate the capability to obtain a New Hampshire pharmacy license promptly if not already licensed. Given New Hampshire's relatively straightforward licensing process, candidates without a current NH license are encouraged to apply, provided they are willing to secure it.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
