Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Infusion Therapy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing specialized care for patients undergoing various infusion treatments.

- Shift: 8-hour days with a guarantee of 40 hours per week
- Weekend Requirements: None; holiday coverage may be required if necessary

Responsibilities\n
- \n
- Administer blood transfusions, chemotherapy, iron transfusions, and other infusion therapies
- Monitor patients undergoing treatment and document their progress
- Access mediports and perform central line and peripheral IV insertions
- Provide patient education and support throughout the treatment process
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure the best patient outcomes

Qualifications\n
- \n
- Minimum of 2 years of current experience in infusion therapy
- IV Certification and Basic Dysrhythmia course completion required
- Experience accessing mediports and inserting central and peripheral IVs
- Certification in Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Infusion preferred
- Oncology Certification (OCN) is highly preferred
- Proficiency in Meditech Expanse is preferred
- Active Massachusetts RN License and BLS, ACLS certifications required
- Must have a personal vehicle for transportation to the assignment
