American Traveler is hiring a night shift RN for a PCU/MedSurg/Telemetry position at a critical access hospital, requiring 5 years of experience and the ability to perform charge nurse duties.

- PCU/MedSurg/Telemetry unit
- Night shift, 7p-7a, including every other weekend rotation
- Floating required to other units (ED, MCH) as needed
- Uses Cerner EMR
- 13-week contract

Requirements\n

- Active RN license (VT or compact) required upon acceptance
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience required
- Must be able to work independently and perform charge nurse duties

- Provide nursing care across PCU, MedSurg, and Telemetry patient populations
- Holiday coverage required
- Agency professionals required to attend department quarterly education sessions
- Located in Newport, Vermont in the Northeast Kingdom near the Canadian border
- Area offers outdoor recreation including hiking, skiing, fishing, and snowmobiling
- Personal transportation strongly recommended due to limited public transportation
- Support provided throughout the transition to the new role and community
