About This Role

We are looking for someone who has a lot of energy and loves working with two-year old children and is hardworking and dependable. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week). You must be able to work until at least 4:30 PM.



What You'll Do

Carrying out basic care duties of feeding, changing diapers, and facilitating naptime, as well as interacting with young children in a playful manner. Helping the teacher to carry out lesson plans, maintain observations, work with special educators, interact with parents, and maintain a clean classroom. This job is very active and a lot of fun.



Requirements

At least a high school graduate. Some coursework in early childhood education preferred. Must be willing to complete online mandated reporter training, online Vermont orientation training, and online CPR/first aid training. If the applicant does not already have early childhood college coursework he/she must be willing to complete the 45 hours Fundamentals for Early Childhood Education course within the first year of hire.



Nice To Haves

Some experience working with young children and some early childhood college coursework.
