Make an impact as a Special Education Teacher supporting preschool students for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time, contract opportunity focuses on providing individualized instruction and support to a preschool caseload of approximately 12 students within a dedicated Special Education program. Candidates with experience in early childhood and a commitment to fostering growth in young learners will find this role both meaningful and rewarding.
What you’ll bring:
- Active New Hampshire Special Education Certification
- New Hampshire Early Childhood Certification
- Preferred: Experience in early childhood special education
- Strong ability to support students’ unique needs as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Successful collaboration skills with families, team teachers, and related service providers
- Enthusiasm for nurturing preschoolers’ growth through specialized strategies and activities
Your responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to preschool students in a supportive, inclusive learning environment
- Develop, adapt, and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s strengths and areas of need
- Partner with families to build consistency between school and home
- Work alongside classroom teachers and therapists to deliver coordinated student support
- Monitor progress and collect data to inform instruction and IEP updates
- Create a positive classroom dynamic where every student feels included and empowered
