What You'll Need:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Previous experience working with adolescents, preferably in a school setting
- Compassion, patience, and strong communication skills
- Reliable transportation and willingness to commute within the service area
- Flexibility to adapt to the student's daily and weekly needs
Role Highlights:
- Monday through Thursday, accompany the student from Sanborn High School to Impact Academy in Dover via district-provided transportation; support academic work (primarily History) each afternoon upon return
- Fridays, join the student during her 5-hour internship at a local car detailing business for on-site support; provide additional assistance at Sanborn High School if not needed off-site
- Build a relationship rooted in trust while helping the student navigate both academic and career experiences
