Exciting opportunities are available for Physical Therapist Assistants to help shape students’ lives by providing tailored services outside regular school hours. This contract assignment offers the flexibility to work afternoons, evenings, or weekends, and welcomes qualified professionals who can deliver both in-person and remote support, with a preference for those able to serve onsite.
This role entails working closely with students who have Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), delivering specially-designed instruction and services in accordance with those plans. The school district collaborates with parents and guardians to coordinate sessions, ensuring services are accessible within availability. Start immediately and continue making a difference through June 18, 2027.
Ideal candidates will bring:
- An active New Hampshire OPLC Physical Therapist Assistant license
- A passing score on the NPTE-PTA exam
- Prior pediatric physical therapy or school-based experience (strongly preferred)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially when working with families and educational teams
- The ability to manage and document services clearly and efficiently
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering specialized physical therapy interventions in line with IEPs
- Collaborating with school staff, parents, and guardians to optimize student outcomes
- Flexibly accommodating schedules to support students outside typical school hours
- Maintaining accurate service records and progress reports
- Participating in team meetings, as relevant
