Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Vermont OT/COTA Certification
  • Previous experience with school-aged children (K-12 preferred)
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with other professionals and families
  • Experience working across multiple school buildings is a plus
  • Comfort with hybrid and/or virtual service provision (if applying virtually)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver therapy services to students in a variety of grade levels and classrooms
  • Support COTA coverage for 5th-12th grades and select 2nd-4th grades under OT guidance
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans and progress reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and maintain thorough documentation
  • Collaborate with educators and families to create functional, accessible learning environments
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and responsive school culture

You’ll play a central role in helping students enhance their independence and participation at school. If you’re committed to making a real difference in students’ lives and meet the requirements, we encourage you to apply today with your Vermont OT/COTA certificate and resume. Bring your passion for school-based therapy to a welcoming educational community this coming school year!
