Currently seeking Evening (3pm-11pm) Nurse Supervisor!

The Bostonian, is a spacious, recently renovated 121-bed skilled nursing facility with a unique neighborhood setting conveniently located in metro Boston MA, accessible by public transportation. The Bostonian is a preferred post-acute provider for major acute care hospitals in the Boston area. We provide short term rehabilitation, long term care and respite care. Come join our team!

Requirements for Nursing Supervisor:

• Must possess valid unencumbered, LPN or RN State License and current CPR certification

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university

• One year of clinical nursing experience within a hospital, nursing care center or other related healthcare setting.

• Must have experience in supervision and principles, practice of teaching, and computer skills.

• Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred.

• Bilingual proficiency preferred, but not required, to meet the needs of a beautifully diverse workforce and patient population

Job Duties for Nursing Supervisor:

• Welcome new admissions and oversee discharges

• Supervise and mentor nurses and CNAs, to foster growth and learning in clinical team

• Manage staffing changes

• Support family inquiries and screen visitors

• Coordinate patient/resident referrals with central admissions

• Ensure high quality resident/patient care

• Provide support to ancillary staff as needed
