Job DescriptionWe are a dedicated, compassionate hospice team seeking an experienced and caring Registered Nurse to provide after-hours on-call support for our patients and families. This is an opportunity to become part of a close-knit organization where relationships matter, teamwork is valued, and every patient receives individualized, dignified care at the end of life.If you are a RN who is drawn to hospice because of a genuine commitment to serving patients and families during some of life's most meaningful moments, we would love to speak with you.Pay: $46.00-$48.00 per hour for full-time committed position OR $20/hour on call rate + attractive per visit rate - willing to negotiate a flex schedule that works for youJob description: On-Call Hospice Registered NurseResponsibilities:Telephone triage during time that the office is not openMust live around 30 minutes of MarlboroughShifts may include:Weekday and Weekend nights 5pm-8:30amProvide scheduled and PRN visits for admission, recertification, discharge, symptom management, RN pronouncement of death, and other needs as assigned.Daily Point of Care DocumentationProvide coverage for scheduled visits as well as unscheduled visitsBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceDisability insuranceEmployee assistance programFree parkingHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid sick timePaid time offTravel reimbursementVision insuranceRequired qualifications:Registered Nurse licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in Good StandingPrior experience as a nurse working for a licensed hospice is preferredWillingness to travel in your own reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursed) within our service area to provide direct care for our patientsExperience with Point of Care EMR documentationCurrent Certification in CPR /Basic Professional Life SupportPreferred qualifications (not required, and we are willing to provide training to the right candidate): Experience with supervising Certified Nursing Assistants, Home Health Aides, and Licensed Practical NursesCertification as a Hospice & Palliative Care Nurse Medical Specialty:GeriatricsHome HealthWound CareWork Location: Field position across the Faith & Family service territory.
