Natural Gas Service Technician / Installer
We are seeking a skilled Natural Gas Service Technician / Installer to support an expanding service operation. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced technicians looking for long-term stability, growth, and exposure to a diverse range of equipment and systems.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience servicing and installing natural gas heating systems, with additional experience in A/C and oil systems considered a strong plus. A strong focus on safety, diagnostics, and customer service is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, troubleshoot, and repair natural gas heating systems
- Install and maintain heating and cooling equipment, including furnaces, boilers, and A/C systems
- Perform diagnostics and routine maintenance on residential and light commercial systems
- Work safely and in compliance with industry regulations and company standards
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding system operation, service findings, and recommendations
- Accurately document work performed and completed service calls
- Coordinate with dispatch and internal teams to ensure timely service delivery
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Proven service and/or installation experience (natural gas, HVAC, oil, or related systems)
- Relevant certifications preferred, such as:
- Gas Certification
- HVAC Certification
- Oil Burner Certification (a plus)
- Experience with A/C systems and oil service/installs is highly desirable
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving requirements
Additional Considerations
- Candidates with propane or oil experience transitioning into natural gas will be considered
- Ongoing training and certification support may be available for the right candidate
