Job Details:
\n
• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced rural Emergency Department setting
\n • Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust nursing care processes as needed to ensure optimal patient care
\n • Consult with other specialties as required and collaborate with health team members to coordinate medical and nursing management
\n • Work proactively as part of a team in a nine-bed emergency department that sees over 15,000 patients per year
\n • Minimum 3 years of ER RN experience required
\n • Current Vermont or compact multi-state RN license required
\n • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
\n • TNCC preferred
\n • Familiarity with Meditech electronic health record system required or ability to learn quickly
\n • Travelers will start on Wednesdays
\n • During orientation week, travelers on a 48-hour contract will only be guaranteed 36 hours due to midweek start

This not-for-profit independent critical access hospital provides a comprehensive range of services including primary and preventive care, surgical and specialty services, inpatient and outpatient care, and 24-hour physician-staffed emergency services. The Emergency Department is a busy rural facility with nine beds currently undergoing expansion to meet growing patient demand. The organization is committed to delivering high-quality care to the surrounding community across a broad spectrum of medical needs.
