Job Summary
We are seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our growing team. In this hands-on role, you will assemble mechanical and gas systems, prepare water-cooling components, perform basic troubleshooting, and support shipping and maintenance activities. The ideal candidate has mechanical aptitude, enjoys working with tools, and is committed to producing high-quality work in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical systems and products using blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Build and prepare hoses and components for water-cooling systems.
- Assemble gas systems using schematics, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Rework and modify parts to meet quality standards.
- Prepare equipment and pallets for shipment.
- Use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and hydraulic equipment.
- Assist with machine builds and basic troubleshooting.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Inspect materials and components for quality and report any issues.
- Pick up and deliver parts from vendors as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work closely with team members to meet production goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of manufacturing, assembly, or mechanical experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Basic knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Mechanical assembly or machine building experience.
- Experience assembling gas systems.
- Basic electrical wiring experience.
- Mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Work Environment
This position is based in a manufacturing facility and requires working around industrial equipment, moving machinery, and loud noise. Employees regularly use hand and power tools and may work with pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and gas systems. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Allenstown, NH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
