Make a difference in the lives of elementary students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work in a supportive school environment, working closely with a dedicated team of professionals. You'll serve one elementary school, collaborating with a fellow SLP to deliver essential services and empower students to reach their fullest potential.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- CCC-SLP certification required
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain it
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Skilled in conducting assessments, writing reports, and delivering therapy in 1:1 and group settings
- Excellent communication, collaborative, and organizational abilities
Essential Responsibilities:
- Split a caseload of 40-45 students alongside another building SLP
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to both individuals and small groups
- Complete thorough evaluations and write comprehensive reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Manage therapy planning, progress monitoring, and documentation
- Support the academic and social communication needs of students
Position Details & Perks:
- Consistent schedule from 8:00am to 2:40pm, totaling 32.5–35 hours per week
