- Layout, install, maintain and troubleshoot electrical equipment such as lighting and motor controls

- Wire fairly complicated circuits

- Diagnose and remedy electrical trouble on all equipment, using wiring diagrams, control ladders and PLC’s

- Mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills, including hydraulics and pneumatics

- Layout and perform difficult machining operations, fabricate and weld

- Diagnose and remedy machinery problems, including tearing down and reassembling machines

- Devise, develop and construct tools and mechanisms

- Involves considerable development work, skilled fitting, timing and adjusting

Requirements:

- Understand for hydraulic and pneumatic circuits

- Strong electrical skills, including DC and single- and 3-phase AC installation and troubleshooting

- Understand electrical drawings and control schematics
