Property Accountant
Location: Needham, MA (100% on-site, 5 days/week)
Salary: $65,000-$75,000

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Property Accountant to join their team and support a portfolio of commercial properties. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with Yardi experience who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:\n

- Prepare monthly financial statements for an assigned portfolio of commercial properties
- Complete account reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
- Analyze financial results and investigate variances
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Review accounts payable and accounts receivable activity
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and annual audit requests
- Maintain accurate records within Yardi and ensure data integrity
- Partner with property management teams on financial reporting and operational matters

Qualifications:\n

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-3+ years of accounting experience, preferably within commercial real estate
- Experience with Yardi software strongly preferred
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
