A district-wide school psychologist is needed to support K-12 students across four buildings within a vibrant educational community. This contract opportunity runs from August 26, 2026, to June 14, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 35–37.5 hours per week. You’ll play an essential role in fostering academic success and emotional well-being for students throughout the district.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Active Vermont School Psychologist Certificate (required)
  • Previous experience providing school psychology services for K-12 students preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication, assessment, and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to supporting a diverse student population
  • Flexibility to travel between school buildings within the district

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students in accordance with district and state requirements
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
  • Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and support to students as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and student support teams
  • Advise and assist school staff regarding best practices for academic, behavioral, and emotional support
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines
