Job DescriptionPosition Overview

The Pediatric Intermediate Care Unit (PIMCU) is dedicated to delivering care to patients who require a higher level of medical attention without the need for invasive monitoring. Typical conditions treated include asthma, bronchiolitis, diabetic ketoacidosis, apnea, multisystem disorders, and patients who require BiPAP and CPAP support.

Primary Duties

• Delivering care to patients in the PIMCU.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure family-centered care.
• Working 30 hours with rotating shifts (12-hour days/nights) and every other weekend. This position qualifies for full-time benefits.

Qualifications Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Experience

• At least 1 year of experience as an inpatient acute RN is required.
• Preferred: 2 or more years of experience as an acute pediatric RN.

Licensure/Certifications

• Must hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts.
