What you’ll bring:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Massachusetts
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric therapy settings is highly valued
- Strong understanding of IEPs and familiarity with documentation standards
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and other therapy professionals
- Excellent assessment and communication skills
- Flexibility and compassion in adapting approaches to each student’s unique needs
Your role will include:
- Conducting evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans for students
- Delivering direct and consultative physical therapy services
- Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Educating staff and families on strategies to promote students’ functional mobility
- Maintaining accurate, timely documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
- Assisting with adaptive equipment recommendations and training
- Supporting a positive, inclusive learning environment for every student
