Qualifications & Experience

  • Active Special Education Teacher certification (state-specific or eligible for reciprocity)
  • Experience with Wilson Reading Instruction preferred
  • Prior work with middle and high school students beneficial
  • Flexibility to travel or provide remote instruction if needed
  • Adaptability to multiple school settings, including charter and Montessori environments

Responsibilities

  • Provide 5 hours weekly of Wilson Reading Instruction to a middle school student
  • Deliver an additional 20 hours of instruction at local high school, charter school, and Montessori school
  • Focus on instructional services with strong communication and organizational skills
  • Collaborate with education teams to meet student goals
