A rewarding opportunity awaits a dedicated Occupational Therapist eager to make a difference in the school community. Serve a district-wide caseload spanning four school buildings, covering students from kindergarten through high school. This full-time contract position begins late August and extends through mid-June, offering the chance to build relationships and support student success across a diverse population.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current, valid Vermont Occupational Therapy certificate required
  • School-based OT experience preferred (K-12 ideal)
  • Strong collaborative skills for working with teachers, special education staff, and administration
  • Proven ability to adapt interventions to meet a wide age and need range
  • Organizational skills to effectively manage time and documentation across multiple campuses

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive OT assessments across all grade levels (K-12)
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans for students
  • Collaborate on IEP teams and contribute to goal setting and progress reviews
  • Provide direct and consultative therapy services within classroom and pull-out settings
  • Educate staff and families on strategies to promote independence in academic and functional tasks
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with all district and state documentation requirements
  • Travel between four district buildings as needed
