Empower students to achieve their fullest potential by providing vital educational support as a Special Education Teacher for grades K-12. Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education (SPED) Teaching License
- Experience with diverse K-12 student populations preferred
- Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver individualized instructional plans for students with special needs across K-12 caseload
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, related service professionals, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation, records, and IEP compliance
- Utilize evidence-based strategies to accommodate and modify curriculum
- Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and IEP team meetings
