The opportunity

\n

Why this role matters

\n

You'll be stepping in as a senior leader in a lean, high-performing organization where your decisions move the needle directly. As the company scales, this position has a clear, intentional path to a Director of Project Management title, and you'd be the person who helps define what that looks like.

  • Manage owner relationships, subcontractor coordination, and design team communication as the primary point of accountability

  • \n

  • Partner with field operations to ensure quality, safety, and schedule alignment from groundbreak to handoff

  • \n

  • Mentor junior project staff and contribute to a culture of ownership, accountability, and excellence
  • \n

  • \n

  • Serve as a key voice in company leadership discussions around operational strategy and growth planning

Qualifications

    \n
  • 5+ years of project management experience in commercial general contracting, with demonstrated ownership of projects from $5M–$50M+
  • \n

  • Strong command of project financial management — budgets, cost reports, change management, and forecasting
  • \n

  • Experience managing subcontractors, trade scopes, and complex owner/architect relationships
  • \n

  • Comfort with both the field and the conference room — you're equally at home reviewing drawings and presenting to owners
  • \n

  • Working knowledge of Procore, Bluebeam, or comparable construction management platforms
  • \n

  • A track record of delivering projects on time and on budget without burning out the people around you
  • \n

  • \n

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered

Growth potential

\n

The company is building its leadership bench intentionally. For the right candidate, this Senior PM role is a proving ground, with a direct line to a Director of Operations position as the team and project volume expand. You'd be growing with the firm, not just working for it.
