Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Location: Falmouth, MA
Position Type: Contract (13 Weeks)
Pay Rate: $65–$73/hour

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality critical care to patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care experience and the ability to float to Med/Surg Tele units when operationally required.
Responsibilities:

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.

Administer medications and monitor patient responses.

Continuously assess and monitor critically ill patients.

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.

Serve as a resource and mentor for nursing staff when needed.

Follow hospital policies, infection prevention, and patient safety standards.

Participate in quality improvement and professional development activities.
-
Float to Med/Surg Tele units based on operational needs and patient census.
Requirements:
-
Current Massachusetts RN License
-
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Prior Critical Care/ICU experience required

Current BLS Certification
-
Current ACLS Certification
-
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Successful completion of facility-required Pharmacology and Basic Arrhythmia exams
Preferred Qualifications:

BSN

CCRN Certification
-
TCAR Certification
-
De-escalation Certification
-
Experience with hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator care, and intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring
