This full-time contract opportunity offers several positions, supporting K-12 students with a range of communication needs. Ideal for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA), this role provides variety and flexibility in a supportive setting. Both local and travel professionals are encouraged to bring their skills and enthusiasm to help students succeed.
What we’re seeking:
- Active state licensure as an SLP-CCC or SLPA, with credentials to work in educational settings
- Background in school-based speech therapy preferred; open to candidates with equivalent clinical experience
- Knowledge of a wide spectrum of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Strong collaboration skills for working across teams, families, and school staff
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- Flexibility to adapt to varying caseloads, ages, and campus assignments
Primary responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy and assessments for K-12 students per IEP requirements
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with educators and support staff on intervention strategies and classroom integration
- Maintain timely and thorough documentation of student progress and required reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
- Support the development of communication skills that enhance students’ confidence and academic achievements
