Job Description

Bring your expertise in occupational therapy to support young learners in a welcoming elementary school environment. This contract opportunity runs from August 26, 2026, through June 15, 2027, with a full-time commitment of 35–37.5 hours per week. You will play a vital role within a dedicated team, working with students to foster independence and positive growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive student assessments to evaluate physical development and self-regulation skills, helping students gain confidence in their daily activities.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with student goals and facilitate appropriate placements.
Actively identify potential barriers in the learning environment, collaborating with staff to recommend adjustments and create accessible spaces for all students.
Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in team meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning.
Provide ongoing consultation and education to staff and families, ensuring a holistic approach to student support.

Preferred Qualifications:

Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of New Hampshire.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
Experience working within school settings, especially at the elementary level, is highly valued.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
