Bring your expertise in occupational therapy to support young learners in a welcoming elementary school environment. This contract opportunity runs from August 26, 2026, through June 15, 2027, with a full-time commitment of 35–37.5 hours per week. You will play a vital role within a dedicated team, working with students to foster independence and positive growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student assessments to evaluate physical development and self-regulation skills, helping students gain confidence in their daily activities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with student goals and facilitate appropriate placements.
- Actively identify potential barriers in the learning environment, collaborating with staff to recommend adjustments and create accessible spaces for all students.
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in team meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning.
- Provide ongoing consultation and education to staff and families, ensuring a holistic approach to student support.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of New Hampshire.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Experience working within school settings, especially at the elementary level, is highly valued.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
