Job DescriptionPosition Overview / Department Overview:

We are looking for a Surgical Technologist to become a vital part of our Operating Room team.

Primary Responsibilities:

Supply sterile instruments to surgical teams throughout procedures.
Organize and prepare sterile instruments and materials.
Collect and dispose of contaminated items after surgeries.
Assist circulating nurses in ensuring a sufficient inventory of sterile supplies.
Collaborate effectively in a family-oriented peri-operative setting.
Work 10-hour shifts with occasional short-call duties.

Essential Qualifications Experience:

Preferred: At least 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
Preferred: Experience in pediatrics.

Licenses/Certifications:

A certificate from an accredited Surgical Technologist program, OR individuals who were employed as surgical technologists in a surgical facility prior to July 1, 2013, OR those who have completed a surgical technology training program in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, or Coast Guard of the United States, or in the United States Public Health Service.
Preferred: Pediatric experience.

Incentives:

*A sign-on bonus of $10,000 is available for full-time hires with over 1 year of direct Operating Room experience as a Surgical Technologist, provided they have not been employed here in the last 2 years.*
