Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students across a district near Bellows Falls, VT, as a dedicated Occupational Therapist. This full-time role covers the entire 2026-2027 school year, from late August through mid-June. The position spans four buildings, providing services district-wide to K-12 students. Key Qualifications:
- Active Vermont Occupational Therapist Certificate
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric OT settings strongly preferred
- Understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Comfortable traveling between multiple school sites within the district
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with students, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services to K-12 students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support inclusion and classroom success
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations and progress updates
- Contribute to a positive school culture by supporting both students and staff across four campuses
As an integral part of the educational team, you’ll work a consistent 35-37.5 hour work week, giving you a predictable schedule and the ability to build ongoing relationships with students and staff. This contract runs from August 26, 2026, through June 14, 2027, and requires readiness to cover the entire duration.
