Exciting opportunities await for an experienced Special Education Teacher passionate about early childhood education! This contract role is full-time and will allow you to make a meaningful difference in a Preschool Special Education program for the 2026–2027 school year. Situated near Groveton, NH, the position involves working with an engaging caseload of approximately 12 preschoolers, each receiving the individualized instruction and support necessary to meet their unique learning needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid New Hampshire Special Education Certification
- New Hampshire Early Childhood Certification
- Background or experience in early childhood special education is strongly preferred
- Strong collaboration skills with families, staff, and related service providers
- Ability to implement and support individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored, specialized instruction to preschool students in alignment with IEP goals
- Support developmental, academic, and social-emotional growth for each child
- Work closely with parents and guardians to promote student progress
- Adapt teaching strategies and materials to meet student needs and facilitate an inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with general educators, therapists, and school administrators to coordinate comprehensive student support services
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date educational records and IEP documentation
