Located in a vibrant school community near Rochester, NH, you’ll work with a manageable caseload of 10–16 students, serving as an integral resource to help them achieve their personal and academic goals. As a Special Education Teacher, you’ll deliver instruction, perform evaluations, manage IEP case files, and communicate with families and professionals to ensure all student needs are met across the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid New Hampshire Teaching License (Special Education)
- Experience or strong interest in mental health and behavioral support programs
- Comfort managing a diverse caseload and navigating IEP processes
- Excellent organizational skills for case management, report writing, and compliance
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with teams and families
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver individualized instruction and support for students in a self-contained classroom
- Conduct ongoing evaluations and complete all necessary reporting and case management tasks
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with families, related service providers, and school teams
- Maintain a structured and supportive environment that encourages student growth
- Develop behavior and engagement strategies customized to each student’s needs
This contract position runs ASAP through June 16, 2027, following the school’s schedule (7:30am to 2:20pm) for a consistent weekly routine and meaningful work-life balance.
