Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Marlborough Hills Rehabilitation & Health Care Center
Location: Marlborough, Massachusetts
Job Summary:
We are seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic care team at Marlborough Hills Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Marlborough, Massachusetts. As a PTA, you will assist in the provision, collection of assessment data, and direct treatment to a general rehab caseload under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist.
Shift is 8a-4p. Weekly pay up to $40 an hour.
Responsibilities:

Assist in the provision of physical therapy services to patients/residents with a wide range of diagnoses and conditions

Perform treatment in accordance with an established plan of care, under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist

Document patient/resident activities and progress in accordance with company policies and procedures

Consult with and train patients, residents, and caregivers

Monitor efficiencies and collaborate with supervisor to improve processes

Participate in quality improvement activities and maintain current knowledge of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations

Demonstrate ability for continuous new learning to remain current in the field
Requirements:

Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program

Current licensure by the applicable state agency where required

CEU's per state licensure requirements

Prior clinical experience preferred but not required
