Job Description
Andover Manor Rehab and Nursing is hiring a full-time Activities Coordinator for our memory care program.
We're looking for someone with recent experience in social, recreational, or activities programming who enjoys working with seniors and creating engaging daily experiences for residents.
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>
Plan and lead group and individual activities
</li>
<li>
Develop programs based on residents' needs, interests, and abilities
</li>
<li>
Encourage social interaction and resident participation
</li>
<li>
Work with the Director to support a positive, respectful environment
</li>
</ul>
Requirements
<ul>
<li>
Social, recreational, activities experience of at least two years required this experience must be within the last 5 years
</li>
<li>
Prior experience working with patients or the elderly required
</li>
<li>
Degree in Recreation or previous experience as a Recreation Assistant or Director preferred
</li>
<li>
Positive, outgoing personality with strong organizational and planning skills
</li>
<li>
Ability to multitask and work effectively with residents and staff
</li>
